I&B Ministry yesterday declared that announcement of 65th  National Film Awards is delayed by  one month due to the ongoing Parliamentary election in India. DataWipeIndia decided to analyse the numbers related to National Film Awards. This story will be published as a series.

In the first part of this series we analyse the winners of the category 'Best Feature Film'.

• From 1953 onward an award in the category 'Best Feature Film' announces every year.
• 1978 is the only year the award for 'Best Feature Film' not announced.
• Bengali films won this category 22 times!
